The Possession

In this project, I assumed the roles of videographer, director, editor, and colorist. The narrative unfolds as two nuns serendipitously discover a cursed cabin nestled in the woods. The sinister aura of the cabin begins to shape their destinies, culminating in an eerie transformation that ultimately leads them to partake in an unholy communion within the enigmatic confines of a hidden church deep within the forest.

The Purge

This particular project manifested as a captivating dance video featuring skilled fire spinners, exuding an aesthetic reminiscent of the distinctive and edgy style associated with the "purge" theme. The fusion of dynamic dance movements and the mesmerizing display of fire spinning techniques created a visually striking and immersive experience. The project not only showcased the technical prowess of the performers but also captured the essence of the purge concept, blending artistry and intensity to deliver a unique and memorable visual spectacle.

Jo Rhomeo - 'Tears of rain'

Within this project I was the videographer, editor and director. The artist Jo Rhomeo wanted me to capture the raw and powerful emotions, to complement the emotions I came up with an idea which involved another person always in the background holding an umbrella. Even though we had no rain the umbrella acted as a catalist to insinuate that its all a metaphorical ‘Tears of rain’ but also never showing his face indicating that its his future self watching over his past self as the end twist is him killing his past life.

For the props we used a longboard which Jo Rhomeo was laying on while getting dragged in the video as well as a back support with a strap to give the other person who is dragging him a handle to hold on to; creating the illusion that Jo Rhomeo was actually being dragged on the floor at a fast pace. We also used fake blood mixed with coffee granules to make the cuts look a lot more convincing.

I filmed this all on my Fujifilm XT3 with the 18-55mm and 35mm lenses. I also used two of my Pixapro L.E.D lights and this was all filmed on Davinci Resolve (2021)

Othello 21 - The Film

Think you know Ballet? Think you know Shakespeare? Think again. Filmed on location in London. Supported by Arts Council England.

I was the lead videographer, editor and colourist. My responsibilities included all camera shot choices, cuts, transitions and colour grading in the edit. I collaborated with the director and chaired regular meetings to discuss the needs of the projects. I used strict time management to achieve each stage of the project. Subsequently, "Othello21 the film" was officially selected for the ARFF Berlin international awards, Phoenix shorts film festival Ottawa, Ontario 2021 and London indie short festival of 24frames. The software used for both projects was Davinci resolve 16 (2020)
