In this project, I assumed the roles of videographer, director, editor, and colorist. The narrative unfolds as two nuns serendipitously discover a cursed cabin nestled in the woods. The sinister aura of the cabin begins to shape their destinies, culminating in an eerie transformation that ultimately leads them to partake in an unholy communion within the enigmatic confines of a hidden church deep within the forest.
The Purge
This particular project manifested as a captivating dance video featuring skilled fire spinners, exuding an aesthetic reminiscent of the distinctive and edgy style associated with the "purge" theme. The fusion of dynamic dance movements and the mesmerizing display of fire spinning techniques created a visually striking and immersive experience. The project not only showcased the technical prowess of the performers but also captured the essence of the purge concept, blending artistry and intensity to deliver a unique and memorable visual spectacle.
Othello21 the film is in the semi finals at the 2022 ARFF Berlin International Awards
Jo Rhomeo - 'Tears of rain'
Within this project I was the videographer, editor and director. The artist Jo Rhomeo wanted me to capture the raw and powerful emotions, to complement the emotions I came up with an idea which involved another person always in the background holding an umbrella. Even though we had no rain the umbrella acted as a catalist to insinuate that its all a metaphorical ‘Tears of rain’ but also never showing his face indicating that its his future self watching over his past self as the end twist is him killing his past life.
For the props we used a longboard which Jo Rhomeo was laying on while getting dragged in the video as well as a back support with a strap to give the other person who is dragging him a handle to hold on to; creating the illusion that Jo Rhomeo was actually being dragged on the floor at a fast pace. We also used fake blood mixed with coffee granules to make the cuts look a lot more convincing.
I filmed this all on my Fujifilm XT3 with the 18-55mm and 35mm lenses. I also used two of my Pixapro L.E.D lights and this was all filmed on Davinci Resolve (2021)
Othello 21 - The Film
Think you know Ballet? Think you know Shakespeare? Think again. Filmed on location in London. Supported by Arts Council England.
I was the lead videographer, editor and colourist. My responsibilities included all camera shot choices, cuts, transitions and colour grading in the edit. I collaborated with the director and chaired regular meetings to discuss the needs of the projects. I used strict time management to achieve each stage of the project. Subsequently, "Othello21 the film" was officially selected for the ARFF Berlin international awards, Phoenix shorts film festival Ottawa, Ontario 2021 and London indie short festival of 24frames. The software used for both projects was Davinci resolve 16 (2020)

This is a short documentary of the process, following the Ballet Soul dancers out of lockdown and back into rehearsal as we prepared to shoot Othello21.

Cinematic summer video | Fujifilm XT3
This project was filmed on my Fujifilm XT3, Fujinon 18-55mm lens, Fujinon 35mm F2 lens, Fujinon 90mm F2 lens, Zhiyun Weebill lab and edited and colour graded on Davici resolve 16.2.
I was made to mainly practice colour grading from filming in Fujifilm’s Log video profile (which completely washes out the colours but increases the dynamic range) I really aimed to achieve a cinematic summer fun look with the way I enhanced the greens, yellows and whites. I will use this colour grade in future projects for promos, short films and music videos,
Defcon Lawless "Tarred and Feathered"
Within this project I was using my Fujifilm XT3, with the XF 18-55mm lens, Zhiyun Weebill lab filming at 4k 60fps, I used my Pixapro LED light with LEE filters.
From listening to the song and hearing that a lot of the song is instrumental me and the artist Defcon Lawless decided it would good to make it dark and mysterious with a cinematic short film look. Then also hearing the lyrics “Here I am” and the tone of sound. We decided to have Defcon Lawless in various locations with no one around with a lot of dark scenes to give the impression that he is always working in shadows, looking for the outside and observing and planning his next move.
Whilst filming we noticed there was a full moon and we chose to make the most of it by having it a recurring theme within the video in scenes with the old walls and parts of Southampton..
After filming I began colour grading and editing. I was very inspired of the use of colours in pulp fiction and decided to use similar colours to create the mood and feel. Giving the audience a journey with the deep rich colours at the beginning then slowly stripping the rich colours away bringing more a cooler tone to then a dark washed out gritty look. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CY7cVDwGYYE
NEW FOREST | Cinematic | Fujifilm XT3 | DJI Mavic pro

Defcon Lawless - Neighbourhood (Official Music Video)
Within this project I was using my Fujifilm XT3, with the XF 18-55mm lens, Zhiyun Weebill lab filming at 4k 60fps and my Pixapro LED light.
From listening to the song and hearing me and Defcon Lawless thought that we should have it so that Defcon Lawless is performing on stage with only one person in the crowd. The person in the crowd is someone with a mask looking mysterious and not interested. We began looking for a place with a stage, later that day we went to the heartbreakers venue in Southampton and asked if we can use their stage and began filming the next few days later.
We originally were going to have a purple colour scheme throughout the video but then decided in post production to change it to black and white and to have overlays of vintage cartoons and clips to have the video very mysterious and leave the audience confused and re watching to learn more. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HFXA3YqeRaw
