Callum Brown – Videographer & Filmmaker
Callum Brown is a Videographer and Editor at Raytheon UK, specialising in producing high-quality training videos for the Royal Navy and Royal Marines. He films talking-head content on green screen, develops instructional pieces with animation, and creates specialised media for both the Ministry of Defence and Raytheon UK. His innovative approach to video production earned him an internal Raytheon UK award for innovation, recognising his contribution to modernising equipment use and workflow.
A dedicated storyteller with a strong technical background, Callum brings structure, clarity, and creative energy to every production. His work spans documentary, commercial, and narrative filmmaking, supported by a deep understanding of set organisation and on-set leadership.
During university, Callum completed an internship with Wayne Johns - a Fujifilm and Arri Ambassador, assisting on high-end demo workshops and events including the Fujifilm X Marie Claire shoot at Shoreditch Studios and a Fujifilm advert featuring a Ferrari. He also produced a lens advert showcasing a £1 million helicopter, strengthening his ability to work under pressure while maintaining exceptional production standards.
Beyond Raytheon UK, Callum runs Blueboard Productions, where he has produced short films, music videos, and commercial work for brands including Moss Bros, Portsmouth Yacht Charters, Superhawk Marine, Clothes Doctor UK, Ned’s Noodles, Dojo Barber Shop, Fran & Go, and Real Urban Music. He has also created music videos for Band of Skulls, Jo Rhomeo, and Defcon Lawless.
His short film Othello 21, created with Ballet Soul, reached the semi-finals of the 2025 ARFF Berlin International Film Festival as well as being officially selected for the Phoenix Shorts Festival. His recent horror project, The Red Veil, achieved over 35,000 views on YouTube and was selected for the Bournemouth International Film Festival. Callum has also delivered a filmmaking talk at Solent University, sharing insights on production workflow and creative development.
Callum holds an intermediate certificate in Adobe After Effects and is highly proficient in Celtx, Adobe Premiere Pro, and DaVinci Resolve. He has hands-on experience with a wide range of professional camera systems, including the Fujifilm X-T4, X-H1, X-T2, X-T3, Canon C100, Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro, Sony F7, and Arri Alexa.
